Friendship Public Charter Schools is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Built-in reading tools

Click Accessibility in the top-right of any page to open our reading toolbar. Your choices are saved to your device.

  • Text resize. Enlarge text up to 160% without loss of layout.
  • High-contrast mode. A yellow-on-black theme meeting WCAG AAA contrast ratios.
  • Read aloud. Have the page read to you with play/pause/skip controls, adjustable speed, and voice selection.
  • Extra options. Increased line spacing, underlined links, and paused animations.

Conformance target

This site targets WCAG 2.1 AA. We test with automated tools (axe-core), manual keyboard testing, and screen readers including VoiceOver and NVDA. Any videos or audio we publish include captions or a written transcript.
